PA Patriots Association (“PA Patriots,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an SMS text messaging program to communicate with supporters, volunteers, donors, and the general public regarding political advocacy, civic engagement, fundraising, event announcements, legislative updates, and organizational news. By opting into our SMS program, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
2. Consent to Receive Text Messages
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from PA Patriots Association — whether through our website, a sign-up form, a short code keyword, or any other opt-in mechanism — you expressly consent to receive recurring automated or manually dialed text messages (SMS/MMS) from PA Patriots Association at the mobile number you provide. Message types may include:
- Political advocacy and issue-based messaging
- Fundraising appeals and donation solicitations
- Volunteer recruitment and coordination

4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on campaign activity, news, and events. You may receive up to several messages per week during active campaign or advocacy periods. PA Patriots will make reasonable efforts to limit message frequency to relevant communications only.
5. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. You are responsible for any charges imposed by your wireless carrier for sending and receiving text messages. PA Patriots Association is not responsible for any charges from your carrier. Check with your wireless provider if you have questions about your plan.
6. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of receiving text messages from PA Patriots Association at any time. To stop receiving messages, reply STOP, QUIT, CANCEL, END, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any text message you receive from us. After you send an opt-out request, you will receive one final message confirming that you have been removed from the list. Following confirmation, you will receive no further messages unless you re-subscribe.

Please allow up to 10 business days to process opt-out requests submitted by email or other non-SMS methods. STOP and related keywords are processed immediately.

8. Supported Carriers
PA Patriots Association’s SMS program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, and U.S. Cellular. Carrier support may vary. PA Patriots is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier outages or limitations.
9. Privacy and Data Use
PA Patriots Association values your privacy. Information you provide in connection with our SMS program, including your name, mobile phone number, and any preferences, will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Specifically:
- Your mobile phone number will be used solely to send you text messages as described in these Terms.
- We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
- We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our SMS program, subject to confidentiality obligations.
- We may share information as required by law, including in response to subpoenas, court orders, or requests from regulatory authorities.
- As a political organization, certain donor and contributor information may be subject to public disclosure requirements under federal or Pennsylvania state election law.

10. TCPA Compliance
PA Patriots Association is committed to complying with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), 47 U.S.C. § 227, and all applicable FCC regulations. To the extent our texting program uses an automatic telephone dialing system (ATDS) or a pre-recorded voice, we will obtain prior express written consent as required. For peer-to-peer manually dialed messages, we rely on appropriate consent obtained at the time of opt-in. You have the right to revoke consent at any time as described in Section 6 above.
11. CTIA Compliance
PA Patriots Association adheres to the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association (CTIA) Messaging Principles and Best Practices. This includes:
- Providing clear opt-in disclosures before enrollment
- Honoring opt-out requests promptly
- Identifying ourselves in every message
- Not sending messages to numbers on the Do-Not-Call Registry when required by law
- Not using deceptive or misleading practices
12. Pennsylvania Law Compliance
PA Patriots Association operates in compliance with applicable Pennsylvania statutes governing political communications, solicitations, and data privacy. 13. Eligibility

By opting in, you represent that you are a legal resident of the United States, are at least 18 years of age, are the account holder or have permission from the account holder for the mobile number provided, and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms.
14. Modifications to These Terms
PA Patriots Association reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting of the updated Terms to our website or upon notice provided via text message. Your continued participation in the SMS program after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
PA PATRIOTS ASSOCIATION PROVIDES THIS SMS PROGRAM ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT MESSAGES WILL BE DELIVERED WITHOUT INTERRUPTION, ERROR, OR DELAY. WIRELESS CARRIERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DELAYED OR UNDELIVERED MESSAGES.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PA Patriots Association shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to receive our SMS program, including but not limited to damages resulting from delays, errors, or failures in message delivery.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Pennsylvania.
